Meet the Stephania Erecta, also called the 'Potato Vine' – a super cool-looking succulent plant with a big, round caudex (that's the fat tuber base) and cute, coin-shaped leaves on vine-like stems.

You're buying one tuber, which is about 1.2 to 1.5 inches (3-4 cm) in size.

It comes dormant – no leaves or roots yet – that's totally normal!

You can plant it in well-draining succulent soil (with the little white dot facing down, that's the bottom) or grow it in water (hydroponics) in a clear glass.

Just keep the caudex above the water.

It loves bright, indirect light and is pretty low-maintenance once it gets going.

A unique, beginner-friendly plant that's perfect for an indoor windowsill.

Watching it sprout is half the fun!
